The "Forever Home" in Golden Gate Heights
About once a year, I have a buyer who describes what they want, and my intuition tells me instantly which home they should buy. That's what happened with my client told me he needed a home where he could feel 'grounded' and decribed a house he rented awhile back that made him feel that way. It was a classic two-bedroom Sunset home with a big garage that he could access without having to go out into the street.

Right away I thought of 61 Cragmont, which had just come on the market. It was in his price range and had the advantage of sitting on a quiet, little known street in Golden Gate Heights, a pocket neighborhood west of 19th Avenue between Lawton and Quintara. He saw it that weekend and knew right away that it was where he wanted to spend the rest of his life.

We competed with 6 other offers for the property and got it because we were able to effectively convey how important living there would be to him.
